27 Retention

Life long retention is a prerequisite if we want to keep the ortodontic treatment stable over time. 

However there are so many different options it can be hard to know exactly what to choose, when to choose it and the timing of the application. 

Choosing the wrong type of retention or applying it in a wrong way can result in the need for re-treating the patient. Leading to added expenses to the practice and usually to upset patients as well. 

In this study club we will go over all the different options and give you some guidelines helping you to choose the right retention type for your patients.
